Systemic Litigation

Our legal team works to effect systemic change.

What is Systemic Change?

Systemic change is the ability to impact the most people possible. DRM tries to take cases based on likelihood of this impact benefitting people with disabilities. This may result in not providing an attorney to represent you, despite your case having legal merit.

How We Select Cases

  • DRM gets thousands of calls per year. We cannot represent each client and give them an attorney.

  • Sometimes, we take a case because other people in MI are facing the same problem.

  • DRM's legal team can advocate for changes that impact the most people.

  • DRM is proud to advance the rights of people with disabilities through our systemic litigation.
